License Activation & Connection

After purchasing Gemini from the auto-buy, you will be issued a license. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit Gemini Downloads to enter your license and download gemini.zip.
  2. Extract gemini.zip to find Gemini.exe and a required files folder. Do not delete the required files as the File Explorer/Manager depends on them.
  3. Launch Gemini.exe. You will be prompted to enter your license key, which will then be HWID locked to that computer.
  4. Before establishing a connection with your Xbox 360 Retail Console or Development Kit, visit Gemini Settings and enable XDK Mode if you're on a Development Kit. Attempting a connection in the wrong mode may cause crashes.
  5. Verify with staff that your console’s CPU has been authorized on the server by opening a support ticket in our official Discord.

Connecting Your Modified Console to Xbox 360 Neighborhood

Before you begin, ensure you have the following prerequisites:

Download XBOX360 SDK 21256.3.exe

  1. Place both Dash Launch and xbdm.xex onto a USB drive.
  2. On your console, navigate to the USB drive using the XeX Menu or FSD. You should see the files listed—move xbdm.xex and xbdm.ini to the root of your HDD.
  3. Execute the default.xex found in the Installer folder to launch Dash Launch.
  4. In Dash Launch, press the RB button to load the launch.ini file from your HDD. (Tip: Press the back button to view the controller layout for each menu.)
  5. Continue pressing RB until you reach the main screen. Navigate to the +Paths section and press A. Then, navigate to the root of your HDD, select xbdm.xex, press RB again, and finally hit X to save the updated launch.ini.
  6. Restart your console to apply the changes.
  7. Return to the XeX Menu, press RB twice to access the system info screen, and note your console's IP address.
  8. On your PC, launch Xbox 360 Neighborhood. When prompted, click on "Add Xbox 360" and enter your console’s IP address. When asked if you want to set it as the default dev kit, select Yes.

Once complete, your modified console will be connected to Xbox 360 Neighborhood. You can now perform tasks such as screen capturing, exploring memory units, executing .xex files remotely, and even FTP file transfers directly to your console.
